Compaction of difficult soils and resilient modulus testing. A peer reviewed publication of the Transportation Research Board TRB.

The 12 papers in this volume are arranged in two groups. The first six papers present information on various issues that relate to compaction of soils, including the impact of the rock correction equation method on construction control of engineered fills when the material being compacted contains gravel. The second group of six papers covers resilient modulus testing. These papers present information on the effects of overall testing procedures and location on internal deformation measurement devices on resilient modulus values.
