Samenvatting
This paper presents an attempt towards studying and analysing changes in trends of traffic and transportation flows over years in a case-study of the arterials in Delhi. Objectives and planning of the study and data collection are described. Traffic flow and trip characteristics of arterials outlined and an enumeration is given of the comparative changes in the distribution of traffic volumes and trips on the arterials during 1969-79. Recommendations are given.
