The Central Road Research Institute, New Delhi, undertook under the sponsorship of M/S J K Industries. A research project for comparative evaluation of fuel consumption of vehicles fitted with radial and bias nylon tyres. The present paper describes the methodology of the experimental work and presents the analysis of the results of the study.
