Samenvatting

In order to compare the effects of tranquillizers on driving performance in healthy volunteers with those in patients, both groups were studied in one experiment. Lorazepam appeared to have the most negative effect of all drugs tested. Virtually no differences between patients and healthy volunteers were found with regard to driving performance effects, which is contrary to general expectation.
