Samenvatting
In recent years, "safety " has become the subject of worldwide discussions. This single word is used to describe various features and functions of a vehicle. This paper attempts to separate the confused definitions which have arisen in this area, and to classify the main problems under clear definitions, namely, "active safety" and " passive safety".
