Samenvatting
The development, test case simulation and preliminary sen-sitivity study of the steering column and occupant respon-se simulation (SCORES) computer model are discussed. Themodel was developed to simulate a vehicle occupant impact-ing a steering assembly in a frontal collision. The in-teractions of various body regions With the steering as-sembly contact surfaces are modelled by defining forcedeflection propertjes.
