Samenvatting
This article contains a global description of the available research methods for protection of crash victims in traffic accidents. The purpose of this research is development or improvement of protectional devices, like car safety belts. One of these methods, computer simulation with the MADYMO crash victim simulation program package, is discussed more extensively and two examples of applications are shown.
