Samenvatting
This abridgment report on a National Cooperative Highway Research Program Project dealing with concepts and design recommandations for safer luminaire supports, summarized the results of eight full-scale vehicle crash tests of luminaire supports. The tested bases are ranked in order of damage severity, and recommandations for the design of safer luminaire supports are presented.
