Soft contact lenses are better for use for motorcyclists and moped riders wearing a crash helmet. The field of vision with a contact lens is enlarged and the problems of wearing spectacles together with an integral crash helmet are solved. Soft lenses can not become steamed or dirty and no splinters can penetrate the eye in case of an accident.
