After an introduction by the editor, the text of the book is organized in two major sections. Part I contains a set of conference presentation (8 papers) describing the underlying theory and methodologies appropriate to contingency table analysis. Part II of the text includes a series of illustrations (5 papers) in which the methodologies discussed previously are applied to several road safety analysis conducted in Europe and the United States. Percentiles of the chi-square distribution are appended.
