Contribution méthodologique à l'étude du comportement des automobilistes à l'approche des feux de signalisation; le facteur humain.

The behaviour of drivers when approaching traffic lights bas been filmed. Due to a simple method, it was possible to determine from the films the speed of vehicles approaching the lights and also their distance from the lights when they changed. The analysis of the thus collected data showed how these two factors (speed and distance from the lights) could be used to modify the driver's behaviour when confronted with traffic lights in the phase of changing.
