Samenvatting

Mobility is a necessity of contemporary life. But regrettably mobility takes its toll. The question is how can mobility be retained and the number of casualties reduced. One way of making roads safer is to identify black spots. This paper demonstrates how the traffic on the roads can be analysed to arrive at an integrated approach to road safety. Systematic analysis of black spots can make a helpful contribution.
