Samenvatting
Accident statistics are discussed to underline cases where road markings can and should be used to help in the prevention of accidents. Aids to the reduction of accidents, in particular as to pedestrians in urban areas are given. Junction and motorway markings are described and information is given about edge lines, centre lines and the double line.
