Samenvatting

Validation of man-machine systems should take account of, amongst others, three considerations: 1). Including questions as: Is this component of the task more suitable for a human operator or for a machine; 2). Questions dealing with the adaptation of the machine with the worker; 3). Questions as: To what kind of an environment is the human operator exposed and to what extent are his capabilities reduced by a hostile environment.
