Samenvatting

Both eye movements and peripheral vision performance were examined in actual driving. Results of an eye movement study suggested that, with larger demands, the peripheral vision performance decreases. To test this hypothesis, a new method vas developed. The hypothesis was confirmed, and the determinant proved to be situational demands, but not to be driving speed itself.
