The construction, tread materials and tread pattern of the pneumatic tyre are discussed and an analysis is given of the motionless pneumatic tyre, the pneumatic tyre rolling at constant speed, the pneumatic tyre stressed by lateral forces and the driven or braked tyre under sideway forces.
