Correlation of parameters effecting the traffic safety in Yugoslavia and being of interest for developing countries.

A summarized report of a twenty year investigation into traffic safety improvement in Yugoslavia, stressing the reasons which caused unfavourable tendencies in this field, in presented. It is estimated that unusual development dynamics of influential parameters was applied in the nineteen sixties with a low base (motorization roads) which is one of the basic causes of unfavourable manifestations.
