Samenvatting
The cost- effectiveness relations for various roadway geometrics are investigated. Five experimental lighting systems of varying illuminations are compared on a basis of initail, maintenance and accident costs. The need for considering flexibility of lighting systems when planning highway illuminations is emphasized.
