Samenvatting

Results of a 60 mph front-to-rear crash test between two General Motors Experimental Safety Vehicles are presented. Primary objectives of the test reported were to determine the occupant and structural responses of the striking vehicle and to acquire limited data on the responses of the struck vehicle. A post-crash factors evaluation was also performed on the striking vehicle to evaluate fire hazard, rescue, and emergency egress.
