Criteria in relation to large-scale systems and design. Paper presented at the Symposium held in Amsterdam, September 1969, sponsored by the International Ergonomics Association.

In the area of the ergonomics criteria and the study, design and validations of systems the author suggests three general problems. 1). the timescale; 2). there seem to be three general levels or stages in the human factors work, and that the main criteria for each are to some extent different and conflicting; 3). the importance of the interactions with and criteria of the other main groups concerned.
