Samenvatting
The aim of the study was to review technologies and management methods likely to curtail the usage of de-icing agents in winter maintenance. The report provides, in 10 chapters, an up-to-date summary of research and practical experience on how to rationalise the use of de-icing agents in winter maintenance taking due account of environmental, safety, and serviceability requirements.
