Samenvatting
Chapter 1 of the report presents accident statistics for cyclists and moped riders from the Federal Republic of Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, The Netherlands, Sweden. Reasons are put forward for the variance between countries. Bicycle and light- powered two- wheeler accidents are described in chapter 2. Accident, collision and manoeuvre types are cited together with available knowledge on resulting injuries and speed at impact. Injury- influencing parameters for two- wheeler accidents are mentioned in chapter 3.
