On the Federal Republic of Germany during the last 10 years electric road transport vehicles and electric buses were constructed, but almost no electric cars. Now a Volkswagen-Golf model was equipped with an electric propulsion system. The system consists of a block which contains the electro-motor, the steering mechanism, the ventilation and the nominal value transmitter. The system is described in detail.
