Samenvatting
150 children in the age from 4 to 9 year were selected to age, sex, social status of their parents, and place of dwelling in the town centre versus place of dwelling in other town parts. These children were studied in their behaviour in crossing the street. It was shown that most of 4-5 years children cross the street with speed without looking around. Children from 6-7 stood first still and cross the street with speed while children from 7-9 cross the street in normal tempo.
