Samenvatting
An interview was held to the acceptance of the Dutch driver to the compulsory wearing of seat belts. Attitude, knowledge and behaviour regarding seat belt use were important parameters for this acceptation. 68% of the respondents accept the compulsory wearing of safety belts. From these 68% there are 37% which say that the legislator has the right but not the duty to oblige the wearing of seat belts.
