By means of the program "Aktie- 25%" the central government tries to improve the dedication of local government on traffic safety issues. The main topic in this report is: What is the reaction of the local government on the program "Actie- 25%". To tackle this affair a questionnaire was send to all local governments in Holland (total 714). Over 400 questionnaires were returned (response 58%). Over 90% of the local governments participates in the program. Most of the local governments plans to spend the received entry- premium on traffic safety matters though they were not forced to do so.
