An as complete as possible overview is given of the alcohol legislation as integrated in the Dutch traffic regulations and applicable since 1987. In particular the introduction of the breath test has given many modifications. All aspects of the alcohol legislation as breath test, blood test, confiscation of licence, prohibited driving are discussed extensively.
