Samenvatting
Results are presented of a literature review to get an insight in the number, characteristics and backgrounds of accidents in which young car drivers are involved. Chapter I presents accident data to determine the magnitude of the problem. Chapter II discuss the circumstances under which such accidents occur and Chapter III tries to explain the fact that young drivers are more involved in car accidents than other drivers. A single cause cannot be indicated.
