Samenvatting
The report presents a summary of the main results of a study consisting of three stages. In the first stage a psycholog- ical model was developed to measure the appraisal of traffic safety. In the second stage this model is empirically tested and in the third stage the relation between traffic safety appraisal and environmental characteristics, such as speed and traffic intensity has been studied.
