Samenvatting
From Amsterdam a major railway line leads north into the province of North-Holland. Along this line some suburbs are situated. The authors report on a study which was carried out in 1979 through counts and interviews among commuters in this corridor. Some conclusions are given. The study leads to the conclusion that also parts of major cities outside the CBD area should be serviced by rail.
