Samenvatting
A summary is given of a research to the nature and magnitude of factors by which drivers are influenced when they are choosing a parking place in the town centre. Emphasis is laid on walking distance to their destination, tariff and density of the parking places. The choice behaviour is explained with a mathematical model. Long walking times are not preferred. Multi storey parking garages and parking places have a slight priority.
