Samenvatting
Results of a survey into the well-being of the population of The Netherlands, aged 55 and over, carried out in the Spring of 1976, are presented. 25% of all people living at home make use of the tramway, bus or underground once a week or more often; a good one out of three never use these means of transport. Four out of ten of the people living at home drive there own car. Car-ownership is closely connected with the income. For daily use the bicycle is the most important means of locomotion.
