Samenvatting
This article is the first one of a series of articles in the periodical. It gives a report on the progress of the construction of the Rotterdam metro (track, various stages of the development of the tramtunnel) and a theoretical analyse of various aspects of the exploitation. The estimated capacity is 30.000,- 40.000 passengers per hour per direction.
