Samenvatting
The development of transport and the Dutch energybalance are discussed. Four groups of measures to limit the increase the energy needs in transport are mentioned: (1) the diversification of the use of energy-sources; (2) the improvement of energy efficiency of road transport modes; (3) the change to other transport modes with higher energy efficiency; (4) the limit of the transport need by another environmental planning.
