Samenvatting
The new bridge over the Lek near Vianen has been subject of a study into the consequences of the removal of a bottleneck in the Dutch motorway network. The effects of the opening of the bridge on auto and rail transport in the morning peak hour are studied. Policy question, the set-up of the study, main indicators, changes per passenger category and interview results of commuters to Utrecht are mentioned.
