The authors describe the main characteristics of the transportation model being used for tha area north of Leyden (including Schiphol Airport, Haarlem, Amsterdam and the area north of the North Sea Canal). The trip end model is explained as are the modal split model and the calibration by screenline counts and assignment of today's traffic streams.
