During the traffic education to children in the 5th and 6th class in preliminary schools a driving test on bicycles is made as a way to test the practical knowledge. The test is made along a fixed route by which the children are confronted with different traffic situations such as showing direction and giving priority. The efficacy of such a practical test is doubted. Therefore an evaluation has been made and an alternative test is introduced.
