Samenvatting
Attention is paid to the public transport of the municipality of Rotterdam (RET). The public transport has to make an important contribution to the solution of the problem of the mobility by car use. According to RET, orientation of the public transport on the market is important in this context, taking into account the needs of the individual traveller. To make certain that the public transport is able to compete with the use of the car, the level of quality of the public transport has to be improved. In view of this, coherent service and approachable facilities are important conditions. Attention is also paid to some projects in which RET is participating.
