Samenvatting
On 6 April 1988 an experiment with "Shuttlebuses" which serves on the business area of Amsterdam South East began. The overall objective of the "Shuttlebus"- concept is to create a better accessibility of the Randstad by reducing the number ofmotorists in favour of public transport. The paper will focus on the design and objectives of the experiment and will give the initial results of a survey amongst employees in Amsterdam South East, held in June 1988. The main conclusion is thatenthousiasm for the "Shuttlebus" is low.
