Samenvatting
A literature review on the stability of two- wheeled vehicles is presented. After determination of the model parameters of a motorcycle, a sensitivity analysis was done. Recommendations to improve the stability are presented. The importance for a good lateral stiffness of the front fork is shown. The report tries also to determine the influence of the finite lateral stiffness of the front fork on the dynamic behaviour of motorcycles.
