Samenvatting
The development of the goods vehicle is influenced by many factors. Very important are developments in logistics and transport in an industrial setting, leading to new transport tasks for the goods vehicle, its integration in the productionprocess of goods and flexibilisation. The old emphasis on increase of efficiency and reduction of transport cost remain while a number of requirements with respect to compatibility with the road infrastructure, safety and the environment have to be met.
