Samenvatting
In this paper attention is given to the traffic safety aspect in fixing priorities for State Road projects. Since 1983 the important role of this aspect has been laid down in a set of values chosen by the Minister of Transport and Public Works. The traffic safety aspect is worked out by means of calculation of the effect a project has on traffic safety. The effect of a project is the difference between the situation in which the project will have been realized and the situation in which this is not the case.
