Samenvatting
The transport of dangerous materials by road is a hazard for the environment. By legislation this hazard is minimized. One of the regulations is to determine special routes through the urban areas. There is not an umambiquous safety criterium however, how this determination is done. A method was developed from three aspects. 1. the dangerous materials which most be transported 2. the traffic safety of the route and 3. the environment of that route.
