De verkeersonveiligheid in woonwijken : een overzicht van de problemen en mogelijke oplossingen.

For a long time past a function of the road in a residential area is a place where people can meet each other, a place where children can play, and a place in which staying is joyable. More and more this function is disturbed during the years and in particular by motorized traffic. During the last years increasing attention is paid in the social and scientific field to the possibilities and limitations by which techniques can influence the improvement of traffic safety and the living with traffic. Measures aimed to the layout of roads in a residential area are discussed.
