Samenvatting
In 1946 a start was made with the development of the New Town of Stevenage. There is a separate network of cycle- and footpaths by the main roads, in the town centre and in other shopping centers. Over- and underpasses enable the cyclists and pedestrians to cross busy streets at a separate level. Much attention has been paid to the location and design to these locations. The separation between the various categories of traffic has a favourable influence on traffic safety.
