Samenvatting
The results of optical measurements on nine types of profiled stripes available in the Netherlands in 1982 and applied on a test section of a motorway are presented. The measurement results are interpreted in terms of visibility distances. For the markings tested visibility during wet conditions appeared to be equal or even somewhat better than during dry conditions.
