Samenvatting
The consistency between the definition of the available alternatives of a passenger and the specification of his choice behaviour is a problem, if passengers can choose from a large number of (potential) alternatives. With the help of a train choice model, it is shown how a convenient specification of individual choice behaviour can solve both problems.
