Samenvatting
In a first article on the demonstration project on the redivision and reconstruction of urban areas in Eindhoven and Rijswijk the policy backgrounds and the structure of the project are discussed, and some results are presented. It is not necessary that redivision and reconstruction of urban areas in spaces for living and for traffic have always negative effects for traffic. The most expensive solution, the woonerf, is regarded as an improvement by half of the population.
