Samenvatting
Road stations are multi-purpose facilities installed on the public roads to provide rest, information service and area development functions. A total of 11 road stations have been completed in Gifu Prefecture as of January 1997. "Minami", one of those stations, is along Route 156 in Minami Village. It is the facility completed earliest among them. This paper reports on a demonstration experiment conducted for providing road traffic information, ski-related and other information for high user needs in real time from "Minami" Road Station as the information source base.
