Samenvatting
The aim of this study was the analysis of the dependence of traffic speed on different factors on two-lane highways in Finland. The main emphasis has, thus, been placed on the highway itself and its characteristics. This limitation has been made possible by the still rather low volume of traffic in this country. The study has shown that there is a clear dependence between the technical characteristics of the highway and the speed of traffic.
